It will launch on Xbox Series X/S on August 20, exactly one year after the PlayStation 5 release of the game. This is curious because last year, Game Science denied a year-long exclusivity deal when fans questioned why Wukong was skipping Xbox on its initial release.&nbsp;</p> <img loading="lazy" src="https://www.gameinformer.com/sites/default/files/styles/body_default/public/2024/06/16/8a513b98/black-myth-wukong-screenshot_01.png" alt="black myth wukong" typeof="foaf:Image" class="image-style-body-default"> <p>Nonetheless, Wukong will finally hit Xbox this summer. According to Game Science, pre-orders for it open on June 18, 2025, the same day the game is getting its first-ever discount. The discount will be 20 percent, bringing the Standard Edition to $47.99 and the Deluxe Edition to $55.99 here in the U.S.&nbsp;</p><p>Wukong hit PS5 and PC on August 20 of last year, and in December, it received its first free DLC, which added a new combat challenge to the game.
