The Cat Village
This past week I visited another cat cafe, The Cat Village. The idea is simple: a cafe with cats. It is possible to request what you would usually request in a cafe but here you get to play with the existing cats. That are some rules that are announced upon your arrival but other than that all you need is to book your visit on their website.

All the 14 kittens were adorable, playful and very kind so interacting with them was really easy.
Unlike the other cat cafe that I visited before, this one has a better playground for the cats to sleep and climb.

It's 5£ per person and per hour and the last time to visit it is at 20h00, which allowed me to go after work.

One day in Amsterdam
One of the greatest advantages of living in London is how easier it gets to travel anywhere else. Every time I travelled from Portugal, I knew that it would take at least two hours so imagine how happy I got when I realised my flight to Amsterdam would only take 45 minutes.
This was all arranged very last minute and it was all so that I could spend at least a day with my best friends from Portugal (who I haven't seen in too long).
I've already visited Amsterdam before but I still made sure that I had a map of the city in my phone (an offline version). In the very first hours of walking, all the streets look the same so it's easy to get lost.

And of course... I visited the cat museum again.

BowlingJS
There is plenty to do here in London! What I lack is energy after work. Meet ups! I love meet ups. I have published about some meet ups in this blog in the past and when I moved to London I was looking forward to attend them. Sadly I don't have time or energy for all the daily activities and sometimes the desire to just arrive home is bigger.
A few weeks ago, before I went on holidays, I went to BowlingJS, this time in Elephant & Castle and the same says it all: bowling and meet more people to like/use javascript.
We were a very small group but a really fun crowd... and hey... I only finished last on the first game!

Switzerland (2014)
In August 2014 I visited, for the first time, Switzerland to visit a friend. I had never considered this country has a holiday destination and it wasn't on my plans either. I guess destiny and last minute plans allowed me to discover a beautiful country that wasn't even on my top choices.
We rode on a motorcycle from Zurich so I didn't have the change to take photos of the landscape along the way which, by the way, are breathtaking. Never I had seen such green grass and breathed such fresh air.
I spent most of the weekend in Interlaken and Jungfrau. If you plan to visit the top of europe prepare to pay quite a big sum for it (but it is worth every penny). The train to Jungfrau leaves from Lauterbrunnen and you will have a nice chocolate as a souvenir.
Funny enough, on the top of europe they sell a lot of swiss watches! You will find a luxury store dedicated to swiss watches and a nice restaurant with a panoramic view to the glaciers.
