The next Ninja Gaiden is not far off now, and ahead of its October release date, we got another look at the journey in store for protagonist Yakumo.

As we see in the new trailer shown off during Gamescom Opening Night Live 2025, the Raven and Hayabusa clans have both worked to maintain the peace, with the Hayabusa clan often in the "spotlight." But Yakumo is pursuing something, putting him at odds with several fierce fighters, including series mainstay Ryu Hayabusa himself.

There are lots of characters, weapons, and story beats shown off in today's trailer, and it won't be long until we see how they all string together. Ninja Gaiden 4 is currently slated for an October 21 launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is coming to Switch 2 next year. Additionally, its first story expansion, The Order of the Giants, has a new gameplay trailer. 

A new trailer for the game's expansion, The Order of the Giants, sets the table for Indy's next adventure as he investigates the mystery surrounding the giants. Expect more tomb raiding, puzzle-solving, and fist-fighting, as Indy visits new locations in Rome (including the Colosseum). Indiana Jones and the Great Circle: The Order of the Giants launches on September 4. 

Crunchyroll is set to exclusively publish an anime adaptation of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, FromSoftware’s beloved 2019 action game. Sekiro: No Defeat is set to release in 2026 with Studio Qzil.la leading the production. Kenichi Kutsuna (One Punch Man, Bleach) is directing the project. Notably, three original cast members – Daisuke Namikawa, Miyuki Satou, and Kenjiro Tsuda – are reprising their roles in Sekiro: No Defeat as Wolf, The Divine Heir, and Genichiro Ashina, respectively.

"We are taking on the monumental task of animating the breathtakingly beautiful Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice,” Kutsuna states in a Crunchyroll News post. “[...] The final product is being crafted to be a truly memorable experience, one that will leave a lasting impression on both dedicated fans of the game and those who are discovering the world of Sekiro for the very first time."

Series creators and producers Jonathan Nolan and Geneva Robertson-Dworet appeared on stage alongside stars Ella Purnell (Lucy MacLean) and Aaron Moten (Maximus) – Walton Goggins was presumably unavailable – at Gamescom to introduce the second season of the Fallout TV show's first teaser.

The teaser, well, teases a first look at a Deathclaw and Robert House, an important character that appeared in Fallout: New Vegas. Mr. House will be played by 
Justin Theroux (The Leftovers).

And speaking of New Vegas, the teaser confirms that the second season is making good on the tease at the end of the first season by taking place in New Vegas. Fallout season 2 premieres December 17 on Amazon's streaming platform.

Moonlighter, the charming 2018 indie that's part dungeon crawler/ and part shop sim, is getting a sequel. While we knew it was set to launch in Early Access sometime this year, Gamescom's Opening Night Live Showcase just revealed its exact date: October 23.

Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault sports a new, cel-shaded 3D art style, a notable change from the pixelated art in its predecessor. That said, it retains its isometric perspective, so it shouldn't change the gameplay too drastically. You can get a closer look at the game in the gallery below.

 

Just like the original, players will run a shop to make money during the day and raid dangerous dungeons by night, using the materials they harvest from their adventures to sell as wares the next day. From there, they can use money to purchase new weapons and upgrades.

The game will launch in Early Access on Steam and Xbox PC Game Pass Preview on Thursday, October 23. When it hits 1.0, developer Digital Sun also plans to release the game on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
